Joe Garza –  of the Texas Red Wolves

Co-Founder 2015 -2024

 

Raised in San Antonio, Joe grew up playing various sports and eventually transitioned to coaching. In 2014, Joe and his wife, Stephanie, co-founded Kick Start Sports as part of their shared commitment to the community.

 

Their mission? To introduce to a wide range of sports, instilling the fundamental skills to participate while promoting an active, healthy lifestyle of all ages through hands on education.

Stephanie Garza – CEO of the Texas Red Wolves
With over 18 years of experience in management, leadership, and marketing, Stephanie Garza is a powerhouse of multitasking—balancing her roles as a wife, mother of six, and business leader. For over 18 years, she has served the community as an Event Coordinator, Business Liaison, and Management Leader, specializing in demographic research, retail visual presentation, and safety control.

 

Her passion for both her family and community fuels her dedication to the family’s businesses:

Kick Start Summer Meal, Sports,  Educational Program, Kick Start CPR, Texas Red Wolves Entertainment and Love It! Stefunny shop.

Stephanie’s extensive network of business relationships continues to grow, driven by her belief in grassroots marketing and one-on-one connections. She loves helping others succeed by offering resources and guidance within the community.

In 2015, driven by their passion and family support, Joe and Stephanie took on the thrilling challenge of owning a professional franchise, now known as the Texas Red Wolves. Based in San Antonio, TX, they compete in the American Basketball Association (ABA), the same league where the San Antonio Spurs played during the 1970s.
